Aurae/Footwork at Net

Our Goals
TenDance© focuses on footwork; we develop the integration of the whole body movements (here unto called) Bodyworks© and trains tennis players in the concepts of balance, flow and counterpoise. Rather than focusing on upper body (lever) and racquet work strength, we emphasize learning new footwork techniques and body positions as well as conditioning combinations so that players may effectively travel to the ball and deliver effective return of shots. Another one of our goal is to eliminate early casualties do to all types of injuries from the lack of Movement Specific Training.



TenDance© ask the student to internalize the body alignments and memorize the exercises with the new movement vocabulary of classical ballet; so that he or she will be able to operate in the heat of a match more healthily, harmoniously, and in tune with the ball.



Our objective is to elevate player's awareness about the importance of tennis movement and overall body movement (Bodyworks©)  If this is accomplished the student's overall conditioning should be brought to a level commensurate to that of their racquetwork. Our goal is to have the student utilize and articulate their entire body with the racquet to raise their overall level of play well beyond 4.5. N.T.R.P
